Walnut Kadayif Dessert Recipe

- Ingredients for Sherbet
- 3 cups granulated sugar
- 3 glasses of water
- ¼ lemon juice

- 2 tablespoons of semolina
- 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar
- 1 glass of water Milk
- Ingredients for Kadayif
- 300 gr. freshly shredded wheat
- 250 gr. butter

- 2 cups walnuts – crushed
1 For its sherbet;
Add granulated sugar and water into a saucepan and mix.
When the sugar dissolves completely, let it boil.
Add the lemon juice and boil a little more and remove from the heat.
2 For the semolina mortar;
Add semolina, granulated sugar, and milk in a saucepan and mix with a whisk until it reaches a thick consistency.
Then, put the stuffing you prepared in a squeezing bag.
3 For kadayif;
Place the shredded wheat in a mixing bowl and cut finely by hand.
Melt the butter in a pan.
Pour the melted butter over the kadayifs and rub the butter all over with your hand.
Take a pinch of butter kadayif on the base of your muffin mold and squeeze the kadayifs with the help of a perfectly fitting glass.
Then, squeeze the semolina mixture you prepared and sprinkle it with finely chopped walnuts.
Take another pinch of kadayif and place it on the walnut layer and press it with a glass.
Bake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 25 – 30 minutes.
Pour the cold sherbet on your hot dessert from the oven and leave it to absorb.
Turn your sherbet upside down and place it on the plate to be served.
You can serve it by sprinkling walnuts on it.
